The Bronx Mathematics Preparatory School
Good afternoon M.S. 375 Families
On behalf of Principal Rozier and the M.S. 375 staff, I want to first start by saying that our thoughts are with each of you as we begin to work through the changes on the road ahead. While we know that we may face some challenges, we are also confident that we can work together as a team as we always do, to ensure that the best teaching and learning is happening for our children.
As informed this past Sunday, by the Mayor and Chancellor Carranza, we will be moving to online learning from March 23 - April 20.
(Please note this date can change, so be sure to stay informed via the Department of Education website here.)
Today, you and your child should begin receiving information from your child's teacher’s regarding student access to the internet and computer availability (Laptop Distribution- Thursday, 3/19/2020 from 9:00AM – 2:00PM). The DOE anticipates devices will be delivered to parents in the coming weeks. To inform distribution of these devices, we are asking families to complete a survey sharing their best contact information over the next few weeks as well as whether they have access to a smartphone, a laptop/tablet/computer, the internet, or none of the above. We will use the information to prioritize device distribution and inform families of pickup location.
*If you have not already done so, please use the links below to create accounts for the online resources that we will be utilizing for the duration of the time that students are working from home.
Please also be sure to complete the Parent/ School Survey online HERE --> https://survey.avii.com/Survey/ChooseLanguage?returnUrl=%2FSurvey%2FLogin
Please have your child fill out the Student/School Survey online HERE ---> https://survey.avii.com/Survey/ChooseLanguage?returnUrl=%2FSurvey%2FLogin
Breakfast and Lunch "Grab & Go", will be served at all school's around the city, every day this week (3/16 - 3/20) from 7:30 am - 1:30 pm.
Students should be logging into their google classroom accounts from 8:20AM at least once each weekday.
Teachers will be updating Pupilpath on a weekly basis to track the completion of assignments.
Thank you all for your continued support and collaboration during this time. I am confident that we will all RISE to the occasion in support of our young people.
